Margaretha Nink (Peggy)

Margaretha Nink (Peggy) passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of Reinhold Nink, who predeceased her in 2024. She was the loving mother of Monika Nink. Margaretha was the daughter of the late Abl and Margaret Winecker. She immigrated to Canada from Germany in the late 1950s to reunite with Reinhold, who had come ahead in 1957. They married in 1958 and built a life rooted in love, resilience, and partnership that spanned 65 years. Margaretha was a true self-starter, one of the first Avon ladies in her neighbourhood. She and Reinhold later opened a furniture store showcasing his original designs and her talent as an interior designer. She later became a top sales associate at the Hudson's Bay Company, where her dedication and personal touch left a lasting impression. Margaretha was also a creative and curious person who enjoyed painting and gardening. She is survived by her daughter Monika Nink.
