WILLIAM (BILL) GAPEN

William (Bill) Gapen passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026, at the age of 70, after a short battle with cancer at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 19, 1955, in Nipigon, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Evelyn Gapen, and his siblings, John Best and Sharon Dorn. Bill is survived by his beloved partner, Richard Nolan. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Columbus Centre, 901 Lawrence Ave. West in North York, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital, Malignant Hematology Department.
