Thomas James Paterson

Thomas James Paterson passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 89, just a few months before his 90th birthday. He is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Janet, and his children Kenneth, Neil, and Heather Taylor. He was predeceased by his daughter Christine. Tommy was also a loving grandfather to Erika and Robert. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Tommy served in the British Royal Air Force before moving to Hamilton, Ontario, in 1961, where he had a long career with T. Eaton Company and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 60 years. He will be remembered for his good nature, warm spirit, and natural gift for entertaining others. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home in Orillia, and a Celebration of Life will be held later in Hamilton.
