Robert John Alden

Robert John Alden passed away peacefully at Mariposa House Hospice, Severn on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the age of 90. He was born in Toronto and was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Sarah Alden, and his first wife, Patricia Alden. Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Heather Tuline-Adlen, and his loving children, Laurie Philp and her husband Neil, Cindy Evans and her husband Brett, Jill Novosell and her husband Dennis, and Shelley Pearce and her husband Kevin. He is also survived by his proud grandchildren, Nicolle, Justin, Andrew, Alex, Candice, Sarah, Lauren, Jula, Jakob, and Aaron, and his seven great-grandchildren. Robert is predeceased by his brother, Alan Alden, who was predeceased by his wife Shirley. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Robert's life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in his name to Mariposa House Hospice through the Simcoe Funeral Home, located at 38 James St E, Orillia.
