Nellie June (Pattenden) Cleaveley
It is with sadness that the passing of Nellie June (Pattenden) Cleaveley of Orillia, Ontario, is announced. Nellie June passed away on October 16, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband, George Thomas Cleaveley, and her sons, Stanley (late Marjorie) and Ray. Nellie June is survived by her children, Dorothy McCarthy (Donnie), Joan Eastcott (late Alvin), Wilfred (Dorothy), Patsy McCormick (Gary), Ainsley (late Beverly), Kathy Metherel (Rick), and Tina Cleaveley (Stephen). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carson Funeral Homes L. Doolittle Chapel. A funeral service took place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the L. Doolittle Chapel.
