Neil James Hurtubise

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Neil James Hurtubise of Orillia, Ontario, who departed this life on September 18, 2026, at the age of 90. Neil was born on September 26, 1935, and is survived by his beloved partner Patricia. He was the cherished father of Elizabeth Anderson (David), Michael (Rose), and Anne Marie Wilkie (Larry). Neil was also a dear brother to Joe Hurtubise (Helen), Bernard Hurtubise (Aileen), and Margaret Arnold, and a loving uncle to his niece Christine Galloway. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Andrew (Aimee), Malorie (Clayton), Niklas (Brittany), Emelie (Daniel), Mitchell (Percy), and Hannah (Lukas), as well as his extended family, Linda, Don McIsaac, Dave Osborne, Nick Baranik, and Devo. Visitation will take place on September 27, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Carson Funeral Homes L. Doolittle Chapel, with a prayer service at 6:45 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on September 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Guardian Angels. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by visiting a local Blood Donor Clinic in Neil's honor.
