Murray Eugene Carter

The family of Murray Eugene Carter of Orillia, Ontario, announces his passing on August 28, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Hattie Mae Carter; his wife, Marilyn Carter; grandchildren Ryan and Stacey; great-grandchildren Evelyn, Kiley, Finlay, Owen, Isabell, and Karsen; and brothers Sheldon Blenkhorn, Victor Carter, and Gerald Carter. Murray is survived by his children, Elaine (Joe), Alita (Perry), and Lisa (Rob); grandchildren Richard and Meagan; and nephew Greg MacKenzie (Dana). A memorial service will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Simcoe Funeral Home, followed by a reception at 1:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made by planting a tree in Murray's honor or to a charity of your choice.
