Laurie Lyn Edwards of Orillia, Ontario, passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on May 24, 1959, Laurie was cherished for the joy she brought to her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, George Faryna; her children, Tim (Becky) and Karyn (Dan); her grandsons, Josh, Austin, and Sebastian; and her sister, Janet (John). Laurie was predeceased by her sister, Debbie, and her parents, Sonia and Earl Solobay. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Mundell Funeral Home, located at 79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laurie's memory to St. Michael's Hospital Foundation.
