Kenneth Roy Durst

Kenneth Roy Durst of Orillia, Ontario, passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on December 27, 1935, in Waterloo, Ontario, Kenneth is fondly remembered by his family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy Alexander Durst and Elsie Schnarr, as well as his sisters, Dolores Smith (Henry) and Carole Scanlon (Jerome). Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Janice Cassidy (Jim); stepdaughter, Sheryl (Doug Gowanlock); and stepdaughter, Colleen. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Michael, Elaine, Patrick (Scanlon), Greg, Laurel, Randy, and Karen (Smith), along with his grandsons, Silas, River, and Shane, and great-grandchildren, Emma, Jack, and Luke. A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Simcoe Funeral Home, located at 38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1.
