Hilde Moffatt

Hilde Moffatt of Orillia, Ontario, passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born on November 18, 1931. Hilde was predeceased by her husband John "Jack" Moffatt, her siblings‑in‑law Tom Moffatt and Anne Marie Smith, and her nibling Gerry. She is survived by her sister‑in‑law Eileen Ahnert; her nieces and nephews Donna (married to Claudio), Cathy (married to Jamie), Michele (married to Shawn) and Steve (married to Tanya); and her great‑nieces and great‑nephews Lindsay, Mat, Michela, Jayden, Megan, Kelly, Jessi, Nic, Tyler and Melanie. Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia, ON L3V 5C1, followed by a memorial service at the same location from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
