Hilda Mae (Rivett) Beard

Hilda Mae (Rivett) Beard of Orillia, Ontario, passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on March 7, 1939, Hilda was a beloved member of her family and community. She was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Elsie Rivett; her siblings, Horst (Tilly), Alan (Hazel), and Norey (Joan); and her brothers-in-law, Bruce Beard (Wendy) and Dave Beard (Sylvia). Hilda is survived by her husband, John Beard; her sons, Michael (Jacqueline) and Paul (Kimberley); her grandchildren, Carter, Decker, and Jessica; and her great-grandchild, Rowan. She is also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation took place on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mundell Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at North Country Baptist Church, followed by burial at St. James' Cemetery. In her memory, donations to The North Country Baptist Children's Home would be appreciated.
