Gerald George Holmes

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald George Holmes of Orillia, Ontario, who departed this life on September 27, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on February 27, 1943, Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Ida Holmes, as well as his brothers, Percy (Fern) and Kenny (Joan). He is survived by his loving wife Nola, daughters Lisa and Sherry, stepchildren Vanessa and Aaron, and his siblings Doreen (Carl), Linda (Bob), and Patsy (John). Gerald was a proud grandfather to Kristen, Michelle, Dakota, Megan, Amy, David, and Jenny, and a cherished great-grandfather to Ayden, Landen, Theo, Koah, Levi, Elias, Branden, Brielle, and Louise. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Seven Bridge Women's Institute, located at 1035 Southwood Rd, Severn Bridge, ON P0E1N0.
