George Ernest Kent

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Ernest Kent of Orillia, Ontario, who departed this life on August 30, 2026, at the age of 73. George is survived by his children, Lisa Ligers (Juris Ligers) and Tim Kent (Brenda Smale), as well as his siblings, Jim Kent (Barbara Kent), Melody Staszko (Mike Staszko), and Susan Morris (Dave Morris). He was predeceased by his parents, Andy Kent and Nancy Kent. George's warmth and kindness will be fondly remembered by family, friends, and colleagues. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital or Mariposa House Hospice are appreciated for the exceptional care he received.
