Ethel Catharine Whitney of Orillia, Ontario, was born on February 20, 1936, and died on July 26, 2026, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her parents, Norman Whitney and Catharine Whitney (Cairns) of Severn Township, and by her brother George. She is survived by her sister Joan Smart (Edwin) and her nieces and nephews Jennifer Smart, Jeffery Smart (Jeanna), Emilee Thiessen (Christopher) and Evan Smart (Christine).
