ELIZABETH JOYCE WILTSE

Elizabeth Joyce Wiltse (nee Whiteley) passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 84. She was the loving wife of the late Murray Wiltse (2010). Joyce was the beloved mother of Lynda Wiltse (Randy Gilchrist) of Orillia and Gordon Wiltse (Ruth Mohammed) of Toronto. She was the proud grandmother of Cole, her only grandchild. Joyce was the cherished sister of John Whiteley (Jan) of California, Gordon Whiteley (Julie Fels) of Thunder Bay, and predeceased by sisters Carol Hanley and Anne Burns. She was also a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Born in Thunder Bay (Port Arthur), ON, Joyce attended Branksome Hall in Toronto and graduated from Women's College Hospital, nursing class of 1963. She worked as an RN at the Weight Loss Clinic in Barrie and had various other careers. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 23rd (1-4 p.m.) at Mundell Funeral Home in Orillia. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
