Douglas Frederick Blunt

The family of Douglas Frederick Blunt announces his passing on September 26, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on July 8, 1947, in Orillia, Ontario, Douglas is remembered for the many relationships he nurtured throughout his life. He was predeceased by his siblings, Don Blunt (Carol), Marlene Scholte, Bernice Beard (Floyd), and brother-in-law Harold (Heather). Douglas is survived by his beloved wife Sharon, children Michele Blunt (Lyle) and Jeff Blunt (Jenn), and grandchildren Braden, Owen (Erin), Ryleigh (Adam), and Jordan. He also leaves behind his siblings Barbara Blunt, Judy McLaughlin (late Jim), and Stephen Blunt (Lynn), along with sister-in-law Marilyn (Larry), and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Memorial donations to the Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation are welcomed.
