Catheryne Ann Giles

Catheryne Ann Giles passed away in Orillia, Ontario, on August 27, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on April 4, 1954, she is fondly remembered by her family and friends. Catheryne is survived by her boyfriend, Rick Harper; her children, Michael Gryzelak, Stephen Gryzelak (Jennifer), and PJ Giles (Rachael); and her grandchildren, Courtney Gryzelak (Alex Choo Chung), Michaela Gryzelak, Rhys Vanderzon, Chloe Vanderzon, Nathan Giles, and Kendra Giles. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Kai, Olivia, Anastasia, and Saphira Choo-Chung, as well as her siblings, Janice Upton (Ken), Susan Gryzelak (Edward), Raymond Knapp (Sandi), and Candace Dove (late Will), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beaverton Royal Canadian Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Brock Community Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
