Buddy Everett Keating

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Buddy Everett Keating of Orillia, Ontario, who departed this life on October 3, 2026, at the age of 78. Buddy was born on May 10, 1948. He was predeceased by his siblings, Garnett (Eileen) and Shirley Ritz (late Elvin), as well as his parents, John Matthew 'Jack' (Myrtle Keating) and Kathleen Anne. He is survived by his children, Matthew (Amanda) and Mary Godfrey (Douglas), along with his grandchildren, Xander, Max, Conall, and Ryanna. Buddy is also survived by his siblings, Cecil (Lovette), Lindsay (Diane), Larry (late Nancy), and Betty Ireton (late Stew), his close friends Carroll and Maryann Crosbie, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Royal Canadian Legion.
