Murray William Markowski passed away peacefully at Bethell Hospice on July 22, 2026, at the age of 78. He is survived by his beloved wife Elaine, née Stein, and their children Kim and her husband Krystian Stringer, and Jennifer and her husband Jay Adams. Murray is also survived by his grandchildren Kwynn and Blake Stringer and Juliet Adams. He will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends. A Celebration of Murray's Life will be held in September at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home in Orangeville. The family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
