Minerva Johnston

Minerva Johnston, born on July 14, 1942, in Orangeville, Ontario, passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Houghton. Minerva is survived by her children, Jeffery Henkenhaf (Colleen) and Heidi Henkenhaf, along with her grandchildren, Nathalja Hogervorst (Richard), Tatiana Henkenhaf (Matt), Maxwell Wildstar, James Robert Henkenhaf, and Bennett Henkenhaf. She also leaves behind her great-grandchild, Theresa Hogervorst, her siblings, Matthew 'Harry' Johnston (Judy) and Mabel Johnston, as well as her nephews, Tracey, Trevor, Kirk, and Michael, and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Dods & McNair Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario SPCA or Cats Anonymous Rescue & Adoption.
