Linda McGarry

Linda McGarry of Orangeville, Ontario, was born on May 26, 1962, and died on August 1, 2026, at the age of 64. She was predeceased by her brother John Tinney and her parents, John and Mary Tinney. She is survived by her husband Joseph McGarry; her children, Kathleen Hosie (married to Brett) and Michael McGarry (married to Catherine); and her grandchildren, Ava, Aidan, Lauren, Kayla and Callum, as well as other relatives and many friends. Visitation was held on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, ON. A funeral service took place on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 42 Dawson Road, Orangeville, ON, followed by a reception from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the same funeral home. The family requests memorial donations to a charity of the donor’s choice.
