James Wilson

James Wilson of Orangeville, Ontario, passed away on October 22, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on February 28, 1938. James was predeceased by his siblings, Sally, Robert, and Thomas. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anne; his children, Barbara, Alan, Janice (Clayton), Brian (Brenda), and Kathleen (Trevor); and his grandchildren, Matthew, James, Elizabeth, Kirsten, Brianna, Brooke, Stephanie, Karissa, Rebecca, and Darrin. He is also survived by his siblings, Peggy, Edie, Dorothy, Gwen, Kathleen, and Jon, along with other relatives and many friends. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, located at 21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Tweedsmuir Presbyterian Church, situated at 6 John St, Orangeville, ON L9W2P1. Following the service, a reception will be held at the same location from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Prostate Cancer), Shelburne Food Bank, or Tweedsmuir Presbyterian Church.
