Elisabeth Wiegert

It is with sadness that the passing of Elisabeth Wiegert of Orangeville, Ontario, is announced. Elisabeth was born on June 18, 1928, and she passed away on October 18, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Wiegert, and her brothers, Josef Schulz (Theresia) and Peter Schulz (Theresia). Elisabeth is survived by her children, Marg Johnston (Ken) and Peter Wiegert (Peggy); her grandchildren, Lisa, Eric, and Holly (Chris); her great-grandchild, Kelly; her niece, Theresia Stabl (Franz); her nephew, Josef Schulz (Christine); and her great-nieces, Simone (Dominic) and Jenny (Andreas). She is also survived by her relatives and many friends. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, located at 21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on the same day from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Memorial donations to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated by the family.
