Eileen Long

The family announces the passing of Eileen Long in Orangeville, Ontario, on October 14, 2026. Eileen was an integral part of many relationships and shared moments throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents, John Farrugia and Eileen Farrugia; her sister Mary Farley; her niece Mary Anne Farley; and her sister-in-law Rosemary Farrugia. Eileen is survived by her husband Terrence; her sons, Thomas (Bria) and Terry; her grandsons, Brendan and Declan; and her brother John Farrugia. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, located at 21 First St, Orangeville, ON L9W2C8. A prayer service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 8:00 PM at the same location. The funeral service will occur on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St Joseph Parish, located at 760 St David St N, Fergus, ON N1M2K9. A reception will follow the service on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. Burial will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Assumption Cemetery, located at 6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4.
