Mary Jane (Chisholm) KNECHTEL

Mary Jane (Chisholm) Knechtel passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on April 7, 2026. She was the beloved wife of 52 years to Stevan and a devoted mother to Lindsay (Dale) Skyers and Alison (Josh) Piel. Mary Jane was a proud and loving grandmother to Danika, Jayda, Zane, Ethan, Freya, and Ryker, who brought her endless joy. She is lovingly remembered by her sister Marilyn Jones, as well as her sisters and brothers-in-law: David and Louise, Kathy and Steve, and Laurie and George. Mary Jane was predeceased by her parents, John and Eunice Chisholm; her twin brother, John V. Chisholm; and her brother-in-law, Cliff Jones. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, on Tuesday, April 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the National Service Dogs.
