Janet Lydia (nee Wyatt) BLAIS
Janet Lydia (nee Wyatt) Blais passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the age of 90. She was the devoted wife and best friend to Guy for 70 years. Janet was the loving mother to Andy (Debbie), Raymond, Leonard (Kellee), and Michael (Marilyn). She was the proud grandma to her 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who will continue her legacy. Janet will be sadly missed by her siblings Margaret (the late Real), Leonard (the late Lillian), George (Nancy), Betty (Ed), Linda (Glen), and David (Wendy); as well as her sisters-in-law Cecile and Simone. She will remain in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews, her daughter-in-law Dolores, extended family, and many friends. Janet was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Jessie Wyatt and her brother Doug (the late Dolores). Her family extends a heartfelt 'Thank You' to Dr. Scher and the entire care team at Maple Park Lodge for their loving care over the course of time Janet was with them. In keeping with Janet's wishes, cremation has taken place. Her family will receive relatives and friends at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME on Friday, May 1st, starting at 10:00 a.m. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 noon with inurnment to follow. Donations in her memory can be made to the Society of St. Vincent De Paul in Fort Erie.
