Gordon Llyod REID

Gordon Llyod Reid passed away peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the age of 79. He was the beloved husband of Judy and the stepfather of Michael Wilcox and Christopher Wilcox (Annie). Gordon was a cherished grandfather to Kaiya and a devoted son‑in‑law of Edna and the late Alfred Roy. He is survived by his caring sisters‑in‑law Cathy (Larry) and Paula (Randy) and their children Adam and Grant, as well as the late Rob (Terri) and the late Debbie (Dan). His extended family includes cousins MaryJayne, Arthur, and the late Ann; second cousins Rob, Allan, Andrew, Beth and Beth’s children Nathan and Alisha. Longtime friends Selwyn, Gary, Chris and Trevor also remember him fondly. No formal services are planned; cremation has been completed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society. A tree will be planted in his memory in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area in Orangeville. Condolences may be offered online at www.dodsandmcnair.com.
