GEORGE WERDEN WILSON

George Werden Wilson passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on May 27, 2026, at the age of 71. He was the devoted husband of Sandra (Rodrigues), of 47 years. George was the loving father to Wesley (Marlee) and Jennifer (Marinos), and the loving Grandpa to Aria and Georgios. He is survived by his brother, William (Bill) (Trish); and his sister, Linda (Paul). George was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Bessie Wilson; and his sister, Anne-Marie. He will be deeply missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and all his friends. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 6, 2026, from 1-3 p.m., at Highland Funeral Home Markham Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
