Beatrice Martina COSTELLO

Beatrice Martina Costello passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the age of 94, to be with her husband Gordon again. She was a devoted wife to Gordon for 57 years until he passed away on May 4, 2018. Beatrice was a supportive and nurturing mother to Ann Marie (Johnny), Cathy (Paul), and Laura (Andrew); a loving Grandma Bea to Katharine (Greg), Patrick (Claire), Colin (Courtney), Claire (Toury), Lauren, Rudy, Jonah (Mika), and Clara; and a caring Great Grandma Bea to Cayenne. She will be dearly missed by her brother Ronald (Teresa), and sisters-in-law Rose Marie Murray and Connie Murray, and many nieces and nephews. Beatrice was predeceased by her parents John and Melva Murray, siblings Edward, Mary Ellen 'Mamie' Delaney, Helen Nolan, Jerry Murray, Jerome Murray, Joe Murray, Cyril Murray, and Arthur Murray. Born on January 30, 1932, on the family farm in Huron County, Beatrice was a competitive bridge player, feisty, quick-witted, and kind with a strong moral compass. A funeral service will be held at Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home.
