Vera Beriault

Vera Beriault, nee Benedict, passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on October 11, 1931, in Hamilton, Ontario, to Bertha and Gordon Benedict, Vera is survived by her sister Betty, son Mark and his wife Judith, daughter Laurel and her husband Mike, four granddaughters Krystina, Nicole, Jacqueline, and Kelly, and great-granddaughter Mia. She was predeceased by her husband Ron, infant son Allan, and sister Doris. Vera had a fulfilling career, working as a switchboard operator, marketing manager, and placement officer at the Halton District School Board. A funeral service will be held at Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home in Waterdown on August 14, 2026, followed by interment at Carlisle United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Flamborough Food Bank in her memory.
