Tomislav Barta, born on August 22, 1934, passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 92. He is predeceased by his parents, Anka and Josip, his spouse Marica, and his brother Pepić. Tomislav is survived by his sons, Joseph of Toronto and Anthony (Mandy) of Vancouver, his nephew Tomislav, and his close friend Vrekalic. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, located at 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Canada in Tomislav's memory.
