Stephen Andrew Hayes

The family of Stephen Andrew Hayes announces his passing on September 5, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on July 5, 1936, Stephen was a cherished member of his community in Oakville, Ontario. He is survived by his wife Helen, children Catherine (Rod) and Jonathan (Jane), and granddaughters Charlotte and Juliette. He is also remembered by his brother Tom (Kay), great-nephew Andrew, sister-in-law Lynn Carmichael, and his sibling Hungarian. Stephen was predeceased by his former wife Moira Anne Hayes, brother-in-law Ken Carmichael, great-niece Mary-Jo, and his parents, Yulia and Tamas. A celebration of life will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Knox Presbyterian Church, located at 89 Dunn St, Oakville, ON L6J3C8. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his memory.
