Shiu Han Chiu

Shiu Han Chiu of Oakville, Ontario, passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 98. Born on September 10, 1928, she was deeply loved by her family, including her children Alex Chiu (Vivian Chiu), Mable Chiu, Elizabeth Chiu, and Jeanne Chiu-Lee (David Lee). Shiu was also cherished by her grandchildren Celia (Dan), Patrick, Duncan (Kerry), and Jeannette (Ivan), as well as her great-grandchildren Harvey, Theodore, Nathan, and Jacob. Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, located at 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON. A burial will follow at Glen Oaks Cemetery from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosanna Evangelical Free Church or the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care.
