Saleem Hameed

Saleem Hameed, born on May 12, 1962, passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 64. He is survived by his mother, Zainab Hameed; his wife, Kristin Sjolie; his sons, Neil and Sean (Anita); his daughters, Aubrey Wood (Hjalti Aesgeirsson) and Ericka Wood (Nikolas Korobovsky); his grandchildren, Gunnar, Lilja, and Devin; his sister, Naseem Banu Hameed; and his aunt, Rathikama Meera Hameed. Saleem was predeceased by his father, Shahul Hameed. Visitation took place on September 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM, both at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, located at 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations in Saleem's memory may be made to the World Central Kitchen or the World Wildlife Fund.
