Orida Herta Cuksts passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, at the age of 95, at her home in Oakville, Ontario. Orida is survived by her sons, Andris and Jan, and Bruno, and her grandson, Adrian. She was predeceased by her husband, Valdis. Orida was born on August 10, 1930, in Riga, Latvia. A service will be held on May 24, at 10:30 a.m., at Redeemer Lutheran Church, North Bay, where she was an active and devout member. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Parkinson's Canada.
