Mrs Estrid Manore

Estrid Elizabeth Margareta Manore passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 94. She is survived by her son Bruce Manore and his wife Jacquie, son-in-law Perry Smith, daughter-in-law Karen Manore, and her grandchildren Sydney Sutch and her husband Keifer, Taylor Smith and his wife Lara Fialkow, Sam Manore, Shanai, Nicky, Jennifer, Derrick, and Cameron. She is also survived by her great-grandchild Kamden Sutch. Estrid was predeceased by her parents Axel and Elizabeth Wallberg, her husband Donald Manore, her son Gordon Manore, and her daughter Donna Smith. Born in Guelph, Ontario, Estrid graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Pharmacy in 1954, alongside her husband. Together they owned and operated pharmacies in Oakville, where Estrid was an active member of the community, participating in various clubs and committees, including the Oakville Ad Hoc Advisory Committee and the Halton District Health Council. Estrid will be remembered for her love of outdoor activities, including canoeing and portaging in Algonquin Park, as well as her beautiful gardens. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Glen Oaks Funeral Home.
