Marie Esther Lanigan (née McNamara) passed away peacefully in her own home in Oakville on June 17, 2025, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Lanigan, and her sister, Eileen Martin. Marie was the loving mother of Mark (Eileen), Michele (Mike), Colm (Sonam), Rose (Matthew), Eileen (Frank), and Patrick; grandmother of Elliot (Sarah), Mapem, John, Julia, Carter, Liam, Holly, Barclay, Tatum, and Joseph; great-grandmother of Nell; and sister of Gerard McNamara (Pamela). Funeral arrangements are under the care of Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery.
