Jo-Ann Gail GISEL

Jo-Ann Gail Gisel passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025, at the age of 80. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Debra (Martin) and Lisa (Greg); her cherished grandchildren, Emmett and Hope; and her sisters, Sandra and Pat. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Garth. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Jo-Ann met Garth in high school, and the two were married in 1967. They spent a brief time in Calgary before settling in Oakville, Ontario, where they raised their family. Jo-Ann worked for many years as a legal assistant and enjoyed staying active with the wives of the Kinsmen Club of Oakville. In retirement, Jo-Ann devoted herself to volunteer work with the Oakville branch of the Canadian Red Cross. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Red Cross would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Smith's Funeral Home, Burlington.
