Helena Doris Houghton

Helena Doris Houghton of Oakville, Ontario, died on August 21, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her parents, Doris and Edward Barker, and her siblings, Harold and Vivian Valentine. She is survived by her husband, Desmond; her sons, Greg (married to Pam), Bruce, and Scott Houghton (married to Mary); her grandchildren Brett, Lyndsey, Brian, Amy, Shelby, Patrick, Andrew and Tim; and her great‑grandchildren Desmond and Margo. Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville, ON L6K 1E1, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that kindness be shared with others.
