G. WENDY COOPER

G. Wendy Cooper passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 78, after a long period of illness. Born on July 15, 1947, in Oakville, Ontario, to Glen and Barbara Cooper, Wendy was a huge personality who made every gathering more entertaining. She was predeceased by her husband, William Bateman. Wendy is survived by her children, Kate Vollum and Joel Vollum (Christina), and stepchildren, Beverly and David Bateman. She was a loving grandmother to Mimi, Rhett, Rheya, Will, Spencer, Riley, and Avery. Wendy also leaves behind her older sister and brother-in-law, Gayle and Dan Turner; many nieces and nephews; her dearest friend, Marie McNeil; her goddaughters, Danielle Matsuo and Kelly Hassard; and her loyal friends from Ashley's Warehouse.
