The family announces the passing of Elvira Molignano in Oakville, Ontario, on October 11, 2026. Born on February 25, 1935, Elvira was surrounded by many shared moments and relationships throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Maria Carmela and Francesco. Elvira is survived by her husband, Roberto; her children, Leda (Joe), Sergio (Debbie), and Renato (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Mimmo (Stephanie), Antonella (Arthur), Anthony (Krista), Michael (Vivian), Olivia (Mark), and Darren; her great-grandchildren, Mia, Paolo, Massimo, Vanessa, Stephanie, Oliver, Alexander, Naomi, and Kai; and her siblings, Luigi, Pina, Angelo, Fausto, and Nina. Visitation was held on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, located at 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L5L 5Z6. A funeral service took place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location, followed by an entombment from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Glen Oaks Cemetery, also at 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L5L 5Z6. A reception was held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Reception Centre, located at the same address. If desired, donations may be made in Elvira's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
