Donald Stone
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Stone, who resided in Oakville, Ontario. Donald was born on July 23, 1956, and he departed this life on October 16, 2026. He is remembered by family, friends, and acquaintances for his warmth and thoughtfulness, and the moments shared with him will be cherished. Donald's influence on those around him will not be forgotten. He was predeceased by his mother, Reta Stone, and his brother, Richard Stone. He is survived by his brother, Michael Stone, his sister-in-law, Tammy, and his nephews, Andrew, Colin, and Logan. Additionally, he leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a treasured circle of friends. Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and again from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A reception will follow on the same day from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H7A8. For those wishing to make a memorial donation, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Canada, The War Amps, or the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
