Caterina Lopez passed away in Oakville, Ontario, on August 28, 2026, at the age of 100. Born on February 12, 1926, she was a cherished member of her family and community. Visitation took place at the Mardi Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home on September 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service held that evening from 7:45 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass was celebrated on September 2, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Mercredi St. James Parish, followed by entombment at Mercredi Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens at 12:00 PM. Caterina's influence on those around her will be fondly remembered, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
