Arnim Andrew James
Arnim Andrew James of Oakville, Ontario, passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on November 26, 1970, in Toronto, Ontario, he is predeceased by his parents, Malcolm Errol Cuthwin James and Viscilsa Magnola James-Alexander, and his sister Judith Antoinette Leslie James. Arnim is survived by his significant other, Debbie, and his children, Shanice, Joshua, Hannah, and Reese. He also leaves behind his stepchildren, Joanna (Imran) and Athan, along with his grandchildren, Jonah, Justin, and Jesiyah. His siblings, Charmaine Robotham (Garfield) and Malcolm James Jr. (Jodi), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many close friends, also mourn his loss. Visitation will take place on September 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on September 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery. A funeral service will follow on September 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with a reception at Toronto General Hospital at 12:00 PM and burial at Glen Oaks from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andy's memory to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Canada.
