Anne Borejko

The family of Anne Borejko of Oakville, Ontario, announces her passing on October 12, 2026. Born on August 7, 1921, Anne is remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was predeceased by her parents, Wasyl Pelepchuk and Josephine Pelepchuk; her husband, Ivan; and her siblings, Steve, Jean, Michael, Peter, and Mary. Anne is survived by her daughter Christine (Ted) of Sparta, NJ; her granddaughter Jessica of Boston, MA; her daughter Dobrodijka Donna (Taras (Protopresbyter)); and her grandchild Iakovos (Grand Archimandrite). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their extended families. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, located at 300 River Oaks Blvd E, Oakville, ON L6H5T1. Following the service, a burial will occur from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Jeudi St. Volodymyr Cemetery, 1280 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4H9. If desired, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church or the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre (St. Demetrius) in Etobicoke.
