Sister Anitra Hansen, Sisterhood of St. John the Divine, passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 89, in her 42nd year of Life Profession, at the convent in North York. Born on October 25, 1936, in Grey Nuns Hospital, Regina, she was predeceased by her parents, Donna and Thor Hansen, and her brother, Conrad. A Requiem Eucharist will be held on July 4, 2026, at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisterhood of St. John the Divine, 233 Cummer Ave., Toronto M2M 2E8.
