GULI MENON

Guli Menon of North York passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on November 6, 1940, in India, she was a public school teacher in the York District School Region and The Toronto Catholic School systems, spending many years as a teacher at Baythorn Public School. Guli is survived by her husband, Sudhi; her sons, Vinay, wife Andrea, and children Ava and Charlotte, Arun, wife Jean, and children Lilian, Gaby, Quinn, and Colin, and Kris, wife Tania; and her sisters, Roma Bhatnagar and Jayshree Chatterjee. She was predeceased by siblings Maya Malkani, Nirmla Kohli, Ramesh Bhavnani, and Bharti Srirangam. Family and friends will be received at the Highland Funeral Home – Scarborough Chapel on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or The Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund.
