Glen Orloe WRIGHT

Glen Orloe Wright passed away on June 16, 2026, at the age of 76, surrounded by the love of his family. He was predeceased by his parents, Orloe and Mary Wright; his Aunt Verna; and his cherished mentors, Bill Martichenko and Gordon Brunt. Glen will be deeply missed by his loving partner, Linda; his children, Chris and Leanne, and their mother Nancy; his sister, June; his brother, Bruce; his beloved grandchildren, Ben, Eliza, Will, and Elliott; his faithful Labrador, KD; and his many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Born on October 4, 1949, in North York, Glen lived a life of family, leadership, service, and community building. He earned respect across Canada and around the world through his work in business, politics, entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and volunteer leadership. Glen was known for his judgment, integrity, and ability to bring people together. He was a builder who built organizations, relationships, and possibilities, a quality his family knew best through the way he encouraged others, created opportunities, and helped people see and achieve more than they thought possible. Glen embraced life through various interests, including hunting, fishing, shooting sports, woodworking, pottery, motorcycles, boating, golf, cooking, reading, travelling, fine wine, and automobiles, which he shared with his family, creating experiences and passing along passions that became part of the family's story across generations. Family, friends, and community were always Glen's highest priorities, and his time with his grandchildren was treasured.
