Sandra Elaine Shier of North Bay, Ontario, passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on May 21, 1941, Sandra was a beloved mother to her son, Mark Jeffery Shier, and cherished daughter of Walter George Shier and Thelma Barbara Shier. She dedicated much of her time to community service, notably as the first President of the North Bay Regional Hospital Volunteers Association, and served on the boards of the Hospital, the V.O.N., and the Alzheimer's Society. Sandra's legacy will be remembered through the bonds she formed and the joy she brought to those around her.
