Ruby Derina Jobin of North Bay, Ontario, died on August 5, 2026, at the age of 79. She was born on May 20, 1947. Ruby was predeceased by her parents Len and Wilda McLaren (Hill), her husband Gilles Jobin, her sister Katherine, and her daughter‑in‑law Michelle Jobin. She is survived by her children David Jobin (married to Valerie), Len Jobin (married to Shelley), Kathie Jobin and Tammy Jobin‑Brideau (married to Dan); her grandchildren Amber Dobson (married to Chris), Alex Lawther (married to Ryan), Lucas Jobin, Kelsey Robinson (married to Spencer) and Gillian Brideau; her great‑grandchildren Bradley, Reese Dobson, Harper and Blake Lawther; her siblings Eldon McLaren (married to Lynn), Grant McLaren (married to Maple), Jim McLaren (married to Ruth), Arlene Johnston (married to Leo), Denver McLaren (married to Darquise), Jackie McLaren (late Joe), Monica McLaren (married to Michael) and Velma Morin Dave; and her sister‑in‑law Marie Girard (married to Denis). Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to cancer research or to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
